The Malaysian Equine Council or Majlis Ekuin Malaysia was officially incorporated on 12th January, 1993. Its main aim is to act as a catalyst or agent to facilitate growth and development in all aspects of equine activity in Malaysia. Since its formation, Majlis Ekuin Malaysia has been working in areas of common interest that would bring benefit to the different organisations that promote and develop equine sports and other related activities.
