The Malaysian Equine Council was officially incorporated on 12th January 1993, to function as an ‘umbrella organisation’ to provide a coordinated approach in the development and promotion of equine sports and activities in Malaysia.

The focus of the Council’s activities is on training and education to provide career opportunities for all sectors of the industry. It will also focus on the broad-base participation of the equestrian sports, by promoting riding activities at school level in the various states that qualify for this programme.
